OMA/Progress
6 October 2011 – 19 February 2012
Barbican Art Gallery
Motivated by OMA’s interest in architectural notions of preservation, OMA/Progress opens up the west entrance to the Gallery for the first time in the Barbican’s history, making the exhibition spaces directly accessible from the high walks of the surrounding post-war Barbican Estate. Upon entering the gallery, visitors gain free access to an immersive information zone where they can lose themselves in the world of OMA, and enjoy a specially-curated OMA shop stocked with all their published books to date as well as a series of limited edition prints featuring unseen images from the OMA server.
The exhibition is guest curated by the Belgium-based collective, Rotor.
